Payment & Copays

Self-Paying Patients

Self-Pay patients will receive a receipt at the conclusion of their visit and will be prompted to pay before leaving. We accept cash and all major credit cards.

Copays When Using Insurance

Insured patients will also be expected to pay their outlined urgent care co-payment immediately upon checking into the clinic. When paying with insurance, the amount that you will be billed for is the rate that has been negotiated with your insurance plan. The summary of benefits from your insurance company should outline the copayment or coinsurance cost for an urgent care visit. If you aren’t sure, contact your insurance provider to get more information about how your coverage works.

Out-of-Network Patients

We strive to offer contracts with as many insurance providers as possible, but sometimes, patients who are out-of-network seek our care. In certain cases, insurance carriers will pay for your bill if there are:

• No in-network providers in the area

• You are traveling or on vacation outside of your home network area

• Natural disasters and/or state/national emergencies

• Your insurance allows out-of-network visits with prior authorization from your Primary Care Provider (PCP)

• Your insurance allows out-of-network visits when your (PCP) offices are closed (e.g. nights & weekends)

If these circumstances do not apply to you and you'd still like to seek out-of-network care with All Valley Urgent Care, you can expect to receive a bill for services after your insurance pays their portion. Unfortunately, there is no way to determine how much that will be, so we suggest to always call the insurance provider's customer support number located on the back of your insurance card to determine if out-of-network care is affordable for you. Please note that out-of-network care is still considerably less expensive than emergency room treatment.

Accepted Insurances

We accept most major health insurance plans and can bill the insurance companies directly. Just bring your primary insurance card, secondary insurance card (if using Medicare) and the policyholder’s name, date of birth and social security number.

If you’re not sure whether your insurance benefits will cover your visit to All Valley Urgent Care, please contact your insurance company.

Some insurance plans require their members receive a referral from their PCP before receiving services covered at an urgent care center or other specialists. Please contact the customer service number on the back of your insurance card to verify.
